Mompreneurs of the Bow Valley is a networking group of female business owners who have kids, love the Bow Valley and want to make the work-life balance successful. Hosted at e=mc2 The Centre for Business Excellence, this event will include a keynote speaker, networking, and a chance to meet other female business owners. Think you’re in it alone? Join us!

January’s Mompreneurs will feature keynote speaker Meghan J. Ward. She is the co-founder and editor at Crowfoot Media, a Banff-based mountain culture publishing house and the force behind an exciting new publication, the Canadian Rockies Annual. She is also a freelance writer with nine years of experience working for such publications as Avenue CalgaryKootenay Mountain CultureWild Women Magazine, and An award-winning blogger, she is the founder of two outdoor websites, and The Campsite, the latter of which she sold to new owners in 2015. Originally from Ottawa, Meghan has called the Canadian Rockies home since 2005 and now resides in Banff with her husband, Paul Zizka, a mountain landscape and adventure photographer, and their two-year-old, Mistaya. Their travels as a trio have so far taken them to New Zealand, Niue, French Polynesia, Hawaii and Belize.
