Opportunities for Canmore

Throughout 2016, the Government of Canada has consulted Canadians on a strategy to make Canada a global leader in innovation. These consultations have highlighted that a creative and entrepreneurial society are key to Canada’s cultural, economic and social prosperity.

Join us on Wednesday, October 26th where Sandra Lemmon, Economic Development Strategist,  will facilitate a discussion on the specific opportunities for Canmore.

Entrepreneurs:  This is your opportunity to contribute your opinion and perspective.

Startup Canada has partnered with Google and SSHRC to launch the National Dialogue on Building a Creative and Entrepreneurial Canada and they want to hear from YOU.

The information gathered at this LunchBox Lecture will be shared in Calgary, the following day.

The national dialogue will culminate in a report and video of recommendations to elevate the role of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in building Canada’s cultural, economic and social prosperity. The findings will be released during Global Entrepreneurship Week in November 2016.
